Everything you need to join the Couch community in 7 Days to Die.
You need to own and install 7 Days to Die.
Console players may be able to join only if the server supports crossplay, but PC/Steam is the simplest setup for most players.
Once the game is installed:
The first launch may take a little longer than normal. That is expected.
Before joining the server, make sure your game is fully updated. In Steam:
From the main menu:
Server information will be added here later.
When server details are available, enter the server information provided by the moderators.
Then connect to the server.
Before entering the world, you may be asked to create or confirm your character. You can customize your character however you like.
Do not worry about making the "perfect" character. You can learn the game as you go.
Once you connect, the game will place you into the world. When you first spawn:
7 Days to Die can feel confusing at first. That is normal.
When you first join, focus on the basics:
The goal is not to be perfect. The goal is to survive, learn, and have fun with the community.

Every 7 days, the game triggers a major zombie attack called a Blood Moon Horde. During Blood Moon:
If you get stuck, die, lose your bag, cannot connect, or do not know what to do next, ask for help in Discord.
When asking for help, include:
A Moderator or community member will help when available.
